Ileo-Caecal Valve Malfunction
A malfunctioning Ileo-Caecal valve is an extremely common condition. This valve is located at the junction of the Small Intestine and the Large Intestine. It should open and close as food passes into the large intestine, however, this does not always occur, it may stay open too long or it may stay closed too long either way, waste material stays in the small intestine with more and more toxins getting absorbed into the blood stream and slowing down the progress of food through the colon creating numerous symptoms that seem completely unrelated. The gut otherwise known as the intestines is linked to stress and emotional upset hence the colloquial “gut reaction or feeling” With kinesiology we can test to see if this is an imbalance within your body and then correct it checking to see if
a) appropriate nutrition is required,
b) if an emotional issue is involved,
c) is it linked to any food sensitivity/intolerance,
and then giving a through correction using acupressure, massaging neuro-lymphatic points, mechanical corrections and asking you to keep to a diet without raw or spicy foods for two weeks. This is because certain foods are known to irritate the digestive organs especially if they are already under stress. As this may have been a habit in your body for quite a while, this correction may have to be done several times before the body accepts it as a new habit.
